Well, where to start?
My name is Seth Poche'. I grew up in Louisiana, and now I live in Texas. I consider myself to be an amateur programmer. It's sad that I say 'amateur programmer' because I went to school for programming. I have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech. Oh, well. Such is life.
I've been married now for 11 years to easily the most amazing person on this planet.
In general my interests are anything 'Geeky' with the exception of all things SciFi.
The name for this website comes from back when I was in High School.
I use to pass out gum everywhere I went.
At first it was just a way to be friendly and start conversation with complete strangers. But I went a little crazy (...as I tend to do.) In the end I was passing out gum to anyone who would take it.
At the time more people knew me by "The Gum Guy" than my real name. In fact when I proposed to Tara, she was telling a friend in class. The friend responded, "You're engaged to the Gum Guy?"
These days I rarely have
gum, but I still like the name.
When I started this website I had a job as a Road Warrior. I used this site to log my experiences. Most of the blog entries are just my personal thoughts and rants.
